Keywords Search: Simplified with FREE tools
Best FREE TOOLS and Best PAID tools to search keywords for SEO ranking
If you write an article to help others and share your knowledge on the subject, but what if your article never get discovered by the Google search engine, then it is of no use o write it.
When I started working as a blogger 1 year back, I am struggling with the most challenging part which is keywords that rank on google as per SEO. I did not have money to pay to big effective paid tools like SEMRush, KWFinder, and many more. Along the course of my journey of writing, I learned some free tools that have helped me lately with my keyword search. So Here it goes.
There are 2 main steps to best effective keyword search
- Find trending keywords around the topics you want to write about.
- Find its monthly search volume, SEO difficulty, CPC (cost per click), PPC (pay per click)
How can we achieve these with PAID tool?
Say for example you have to write articles on the topic ‘Why goal setting is important?’. Then to do so best PAID and COST EFFECTIVE tool I found is KWFinder from Mangools.com.
Here see the snapshot to understand how easy and user friendly it is and cost-effective as well.

If you check the interface, I have added the keyword ‘Why is goal setting important?’ on top for search. Then it gave the result. Please check the below snapshot for a detailed understanding of result KWFinder gave.

Here, the very first column shows the search keywords that we entered and related keywords that are trending around that.
The next 2 column, is for Trend and Monthly search count
Then comes CPC, PPC, KD (keyword difficulty).
Any search result below or around 30 KD can be a good keyword for our article. But one more thing that must be checked is the monthly search count on those keywords that has below or around 30 KD.
Based on all these parameters we have to decide which can be the best keyword for our article.
In the snapshot, I have marked one as a red box and one as an orange box. Now red box keyword has 4800 searches per month but its SEO difficulty is high i.e. 43. Now orange box keyword has 2900 searches per month but its SEO difficulty is low i.e 24 and that is quite achievable. So you can go with the search box orange keyword. Of course CPC and PPC matter.
I find KWFinder best in the paid category as per cost-effectiveness for SEO search.
They have their free trial of 10 days with 48 hrs money-back guarantee.
After that their basic plan starts from $29.90 per month.

Here you can see that it for our searched keyword it shows the result as Monthly Search Volume is 4K, paid competition is LOW, CPC is $0.53, SEO difficulty is 65 which is high
Now below that, there are other keywords and its result too. So based on monthly, search Paid competition, CPC we can decide to go for which keyword.
